Q/ Why haven’t I seen or heard of TICCC?
TICCC was established in 2015. We sell directly to customers via our online store. We have consciously avoided and declined celebrity/ influencer marketing, paid sponsorships and outside investment. Instead, we have chosen to remain independent and explore more authentic ways to connect and communicate.
We understand that reviews/ real customer opinions are important.
Q/ How would you describe the quality of your kit?
We use the same fabric and component manufacturers as the larger premium cycling apparel brands. We only use European components and fabrics when making our products. Each product is developed and tested over an extended timeframe to ensure it meets our quality, performance and durability standards. TICCC products are continually reviewed. If necessary, they are refined to ensure maximum impact on rider performance and minimum impact on the planet. Our design/ test riding team ranges from social riders to Grand Tour stage winners.
Q/ Where and how are TICCC products made?
All TICCC fabrics are made in Europe. They have been sustainably manufactured and have the relevant certification. All TICCC products are made ‘close to home’ in Europe. This helps reduce our impact and allows us easy access to the people we partner with. Partnering with people who share our values of making high-quality products responsibly is important to us. In return, we believe in paying them a fair price for their contribution.
We constantly evaluate our production and supply chain, looking for new ways to reduce our environmental footprint. In 2020 we ‘changed out’ our stock fabrics for recycled alternatives. As a maker within the sports fashion sector, we felt it to be our responsibility and therefore our obligation. We did not pass this cost on to our customers.
Q/ Where can I buy your products?
Our products are only available directly from us at tic-cc.com. If you see our products for sale anywhere else, beware — they are very likely counterfeit items. Please note we do not sell on Etsy, AliExpress, eBay or any other selling platform. Contact us should you wish to check the validity of a seller/ product.
Size and fit
Q/ What size and fit is good for me?
We specialise in designing and making performance apparel. Our kit is developed to provide a compressive yet comfortable fit. Our sizing chart is pretty accurate and is a great starting point. Some people prefer a more relaxed fit. If this is you, consider one size up from your usual ‘go-to’ size. Contact us for any questions or to request a free online fitting consultation.
Q/ What happens if the size I ordered does not fit?
We are here to help find the correct size for you. If you wish to change the size of a recent/ unworn product we will assist and arrange a free size exchange.
Q/ How can your cycling jerseys provide a good fit for both male and female athletes?
We used our fabric technology and pattern-making expertise to develop our Unifit pattern system. Each performance fabric has its unique characteristics. By understanding these qualities, we can engineer products that fit and form accurately on different body types. From customer feedback, we are confident that if you didn’t know, you wouldn’t question.
Q/ When I stand up the jersey seems a little short at the front
Our products are designed to function perfectly on the bike. Depending on the length of your torso you may find the jersey to be a little short at the front when you stand. This is perfectly normal and it indicates the jersey will be the correct length once you are on your bike, in the riding position.
Q/ Why aren’t the arms on your Standard weight and Lightweight jerseys hemmed?
The sleeves on our Standard weight and Lightweight jerseys are raw cut. This provides a low profile, compressive, yet very comfortable fit. It is a standard ‘finish’ on World Tour/ Pro Team jerseys.
Q/ The straps on my bib shorts feel tight when I stand
Our bib shorts are designed to provide an optimum fit when you are in the riding position. The straps on our bib shorts have been heat bonded. We use this technology as it eliminates seams and provides a more secure, accurate fit. This means the chamois/ pad remains where it should be — at all times. The bonded elastic will relax a little after a few rides and washes. However, if the amount of ‘give’ is still not sufficient, you can further assist the process. Carefully ease and stretch the bonded bib strap section. Protect the connecting seams by only stretching and easing the bonded area. Please note: excessive pressure on the connecting seams can result in damage.

Aftercare for kit and planet
Q/ How do I care for my kit?
Care starts before any purchase. Always make sure you buy what you know you will love. If you love something, you will care for it. Ensure it fits correctly, and when possible, always consider making an investment purchase over a cheap purchase. Often, ‘cheap’ means something or someone will be ‘paying the price’. This can be anything from inferior fabrics/ components resulting in a reduced product lifespan — to unfair working conditions and harmful effects on people, animals or the planet.
Here are six simple tips that will help reduce textile and environmental harm and maximise the lifespan of your investment:
01/ Launder less
Laundry generates the largest footprint of a garment’s lifecycle. When possible, substitute washing for air drying. Our fabrics are selected for their quick-drying/ odour-resistant qualities.
02/ Colour order/ Inside out
Wash similar colours together. Avoid washing your kit with any items that are prone to colour bleed. Wash your garments inside out to ensure they are cleaned thoroughly. This will also protect the printed surface and help maintain the colour of pre-dyed fabrics. Most of our products are printed. If washed correctly the colours will remain as bright as when you first purchased.
03/ Bag it up
We suggest placing your kit in a laundry net for additional protection. We recommend using the Guppyfriend washing bag. The bag reduces synthetic fibre breakage by 86%. It will also help extend the lifetime of your kit. Any fibres that do break are captured in the bag and are prevented from reaching our rivers and oceans.
04/ Be cool, be mild, be free
Wash your kit at low temperatures. Do not exceed 30°C. Use a plastic-free, mild detergent. Keep your kit free of fabric softeners and bleach.
05/ Keep it natural
Always favour ‘natural’, open-air drying. Lay the garment flat on a clean surface to maintain the correct shape. Avoid drying garments in direct sunlight.
06/ Hand it over!
As is the bike racing tradition — when it’s time to give up the jersey, hand it over to a deserving rider.
