This week we said goodbye to two incredible artists who have made the world a much better place through their music!


Angie Stone

Angie’s music is warm and soulfully sweet! Her career was varied and long, including singing backing vocals for Lenny Kravitz. Angie Stone released her first solo album Black Diamond in 1999. It brought her immediate critical acclaim.

Roy Ayres

The jazz-funk pioneer’s hit ‘Everybody Loves the Sunshine’ is one of the most sampled songs of its genre. Roy Ayres studied advanced music theory in Los Angeles. His 30-plus albums are a testament to his incredible musical aptitude.
