Ride2 bib shorts Men’s – Storm black

Ride bib shorts

£180.00

Description

A premium-grade cycling bib short designed for all-day riding comfort — whatever your choice of terrain.

The bib short features two sizeable, open mesh bonded pockets. The pockets are positioned at the rear of the bib. This moves cargo away from moving/ friction zones while maintaining easy on-the-move access. When not in use the pockets sit flat creating a distraction-free cargo solution. The bib short construction integrates strategically placed ‘bonded’ zones. These zones provide additional structural support, friction-free seams, and a comfortable and exacting ‘on-bike’ fit. The raw-cut, low-profile leg hems have been refined to eliminate the need for rubber grippers. This reduces the products ‘impact’ and provides a solution for those riders with allergic reactions to rubber grippers.

The bib section is made from a luxurious high-stretch mesh fabric that provides superb ventilation. The main short fabric is soft to the touch, lightweight, high stretch, and high wicking. Both fabrics have been chosen for their maximum performance and minimum impact properties.

This short features the ‘no seams’ TICCC performance chamois pad. These have been specifically designed to deliver 8+ hours of riding comfort. Both men’s and women’s pad receives ongoing praise for their extreme comfort, performance and moisture management.

The TICCC details on the legs are reflective. Perfect for early starts and late finishes.

As with all TICCC products, these cycling bib shorts have been made responsibly in Europe. All fabrics are manufactured sustainably in Europe and are made using recycled fibres.

Care

The largest carbon footprint of a garment’s lifecycle is generated through laundering. Our fabrics are selected for their quick dry/ odour resistant qualities. This means you don’t always need to wash your kit after every use. When possible substitute washing for air drying.

When the time comes to launder your garment, wash at low temperatures, do not exceed 30˚C. Use a plastic free mild detergent. To maintain maximum performance do not use fabric softeners or bleach. When washed air or line dry, ideally away from direct sunlight. Do not tumble dry, wring out or iron. To further protect your TICCC kit and our planet we recommend you use the Guppyfriend washing bag.

I have to say I didn’t think TICCC could improve on their current bib offering, but they have! I have been wearing their Race bibs’ for a couple of years now and love them. Their new ride bibs however have taken comfort to a whole new level, I have worn them for several 100 km+ rides and the biggest complement I can pay them is that I don’t even notice I’ve got them on. The new reduced seam construction and pad are a delight, and along with the raw cut, low profile leg these bibs look and feel fantastic to wear.

What can I say, these are my go to bib shorts. Since trying TICCC kit, I have never really gone back. This bib has the comfiest chamois I have ever used and is far superior than other high end brands I have tried. I have done a number of 200 km days in these and really cant fault them, excellent quality and workmanship.

  3. 5.0/5.0

Fabulous bit of kit; so good I bought two! Extremely comfortable on long distances, both on road and on gravel. The Chamois is brilliant at ensuring there are no pressure points and when it comes to using these over long distances on gravel, that’s a really welcome feature. The bib straps are wide, comfortable and don’t ‘dig in’ on your shoulders. The seams are well placed and the addition of pockets on the rear is a nice touch, especially if you are using a looser fit jersey/tee on gravel rides with no rear pockets. Chapeau TICCC, you’ve done it again!!

  4. 5.0/5.0

Excellent on every way. I’m an XL size where in other brands I’m an L or even M, 180cm tall and 80kg. First ride was full gas 50km on gravel on a hot July evening and I barely noticed them which is exactly what you want, after all it’s all about the ride. They survived a fall into my right hip, so are tougher than their light weight might suggest. My next pair of shorts will be more these, thank you.

I have been riding in TICCC kit for the last 3 years and have recently purchased a pair of the Ride2 bib shorts. You can tell that these cycling shorts are designed and ridden by cyclists. No stone has been left unturned when it comes to design and functionality from the exquisite softness of the material, to the super comfortable pad, the hidden extra pockets in the back of the bibs, as well as the no rubber grippers. “Chapeau bas” or “Hat’s off”, as the French would say! Needless to say, these premium bib shorts are my go-to items whether I am cycling indoors or outdoors. Miguel, Canada

  7. 5.0/5.0

  8. 5.0/5.0

Been riding TICCC shorts for a few years now and they are easily the most comfortable shorts I own. Didn’t think it was possible to make such a drastic improvement but boy am I wrong! With no rubber leg grippers and the soft super stretchy fabric these are now somehow even more comfortable. The pad as always is superb and even without the grippers the legs stay perfectly in place and the stretchy fabric hugs the body without any bagginess or feeling constricting. Definitely be my go to shorts from now on! Dave, UK
